About Us

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always spent my days with my maternal grandmother. She was either sewing fabric or tending to her garden during her free time. Just watching and observing her meticulously cut, alter and sew was mesmerizing and inspired me to do the same. Her talent and passion soon became mine. Over time, my grandmother taught me all the skills she has acquired in the sewing industry and was beside me when I first sewed my first piece of clothing!

Throughout the years, I constantly found myself spending a ridiculous amount of money on a single bikini set and only to have them not fit properly on my body. From the price to fittings it became frustrating and overwhelming trying to find the right bikini for me. Using my creativity and passion for sewing, I made my first attempt in creating my own bikini. After countless trials and errors, I designed my first masterpiece! Once I was confident to showcase my work, I received many compliments from my peers as well as from other individuals. And so, I decided to pursue my passion in sewing bikinis as a trade. Fast forward to summer 2020, “D.VNE SWIM” was established.
